Halo the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser. Get the results you want, without the downtime you would expect.
Halo applies tunable non-ablative and ablative wavelengths in a single pass to maximize results and reduce downtime. We can precisely dial in the exact treatment you need for amazing results within the desired downtime. This gives Halo the unique ability to provide separate treatments for the epidermis, which heals quickly, and the dermis, which remodels more slowly over time.
We can choose one of three coverage-based treatment levels, depending on what’s best for your skin. Halo calculates the exact amount of energy necessary to complete a safe and effective treatment. Intelligent energy delivery, combined with Dynamic Thermal Optimization, ensures precise and even treatments, each and every time. The benefits of a Halo treatment include both epidermal and deeper dermal pigmentation and tone and texture in the skin.
The Halo Laser is a hybrid fractional laser, combining both ablative and non-ablative laser energy. It is the only one of its kind available today. With multiple settings, the Halo allows laser resurfacing procedures to be safely custom-tailored to each patient.
The Halo Laser is designed with an innovative cooling mechanism; the treatment is not considered to be painful. A topical anesthetic is typically added for increased patient comfort.
Each procedure will typically take less than an hour to perform.
The Halo Laser delivers an even, well-controlled pulse of energy that is gentler than many other resurfacing procedures, and requires no downtime. Most patients are back at work the day after their Halo Laser treatment.
New-U Medical Spa can treat and ad in the removal of stretch mark removal with the Halo laser; the most advanced non-invasive technology for stretch mark removal
Stretch marks occur when your body grows faster than your skin. Most often, this happens during pregnancy when a swollen belly quickly outpaces the growth of skin. The elastic fibers just beneath the skin break, causing unsightly stretch marks. Most women experience stretch marks on their belly, but they can show up on thighs, buttocks and upper arms.
Around 90% of women will get stretch marks around the sixth or seventh month of pregnancy. Lighter complexion women develop pinkish stretch marks, while darker skinned women develop marks that are lighter than their skin tone.
Genetics: Genetics play a big role in whether or not you will get stretch marks. If your mother had stretch marks, for instance, you are more likely to get them.
Weight Gain: Significant weight gain and weight loss causes your skin to stretch as your weight fluctuates.
Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent stretch marks. Don’t be fooled by creams and lotions out on the market – they don’t work. However, you can help to decrease the severity of your stretch marks by keeping your skin moisturized. The more moisture you skin contains, the more “give” it will have when during pregnancy.
While some women are fortunate enough to have skin that rebounds quickly, most women find that their skin is forever marked. The best time to treat stretch marks, however, is while they’re still new and reddish in color.
It is impossible to say how many treatments you might need without looking at the severity of your stretch marks. On average, however, most women need around 3 treatments for best results spaced several weeks apart.
